Over time, her path naturally expanded beyond the stage into Public Relations and Communications, where she brought that same creativity and passion into both corporate and non-profit spaces.

In her role as the Head Coordinator of the Calgary Black Film Festival. Andrea works closely with her team to bring Fabienne Colas’s vision to life, growing these festivals into powerful platforms that amplify Black voices, support artists, and expand their impact across communities nationwide.

From leading cultural organizations to heading Black Film Festivals across Canada, she continues to champion representation, storytelling, and the celebration of Black culture.
