Vintage Scandinavian Modernist Enamel Brooch
Scandinavian mid-century modernist leaf-shaped brooch, featuring a vibrant blue guilloche enamel and gold gilt finish that provides the gold-toned accents seen on the edges. This brooch is marked Norway and set on sterling silver. Measures 2.5’ by 1’.
These types of pins were popular in Mid-Century Scandinavian design. It uses guilloché, a decorative technique where a precise, repetitive pattern is engraved into the silver and then covered with translucent enamel, creating the shimmering leaf-vein effect.
In excellent vintage condition.
